Q: I’m having issues with checkout are there any suggestions?
A: We have had a few customers experiencing issues at checkout using protected browsers such as DuckDuckGo, Brave, ect. While we absolutely agree in utilizing these services, and understand it is a pain to work around them. We’re looking into possible solutions on our end, but for now if you experience any issues with checkout, we along with other customers have found that Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari appear to work well. -Thanks for your understanding!
Q: Do I need to wear a belt with this holster?
A: Yes, a belt of 1" - 1 1/2" to secure the holster for safe and effective draw and re-holster functionality. Also, the fit and comfort will be best with a waistband roomy enough to fit the holster and firearm. for more info see our page. Using your DC holster — DC Holsters
Q: How do I adjust the holster?
A: There are no moving parts to adjust, but you will be able to set the orientation on the belt for the most comfortable placement and best position for an easy draw.
Q: How do you ship orders?
A: USPS Priority domestic mail, which ships to most domestic addresses or P.O. Boxes in 2-3 days.
Q: What if my firearm does not fit the holster?
A: Place it back in the shipping envelope and return it for an exchange.
Q: Will this holster work with an extended magazine release?
A: No, the holster could depress the extension and the magazine may fall out.
Q: I’m trying out my new holster and it’s slightly ridged, is this normal?
A: Yes, it is very common for a new holster to be slightly ridged out of the package. These holsters are like your favorite boots, or a well-loved baseball glove and wear to their owner’s body over time.
Q: Is there any way to accelerate the break in process?
A: The fastest and best way is to simply wear your holster. As simple as it is this allows the holster to conform to you quickly and naturally.
Q: Does the DC Holster offer retention of my firearm?
A: The DC Holster utilizes the frame features of your firearm, as well as the tension created by the design of the holster to retain the pistol.
Q: Can I use my daily wardrobe with the DC Holster?
A: In many cases yes, your daily worn clothing will work great with the DC Holster.
Q: Are DC Holsters legal for EDC?
A: Concealed carry holsters are intended to be used by individuals who have concealed carry licenses or permits, and or have understanding of their local and state concealed carry laws.
*If you have questions about these laws, please contact your local law enforcement office. Usually your county sherrif’s office, or local city police department handles the issuance of CPLs/CCPs to citizens.
Q: Do you offer any holsters for models other than what are listed on your website?
A: Yes, we can make custom DC holsters upon request. This may add a little extra time to the fulfilment of your order due to possibly needing extra tooling or materials to complete please email us at sales@dcholsters.com.
Q: What makes the DC Holster different from other concealed Holsters?
A: The one clip design makes it easy to attach to your belt, easy to tuck around it, and it will stay where you put it.

Q: Do you accept custom orders?
A: Please contact us at sales@dcholsters.com with your requests. We will make every effort to satisfy your requests if possible
Q: Can I request express shipping?
A: Definitely, USPS Express shipping is available upon request.
Q: Do you offer a law enforcement or military discount? And how to I get it?
A: Yes! We offer a discount with a commission card or military ID, current or retired. Please email sales@dcholsters.com a copy of your ID and we will send you instructions/coupon code to use at check out.
Q: Will the holster fit if I have added aftermarket Iron sights to my firearm?
A: Most likely yes, unless they are taller “Suppressor height sights” but if you have questions, email sales@dcholsters.com.
Q: How long will it take before I receive my holster?
A: Generally, our holsters are made to order and prioritized in the order they are processed, usually wait time is 1 week, some orders may take longer due to custom orders needing additional tooling or materials. In this instance customers are notified.
Q: If I have an issue with my holster can I have it repaired or replaced?
A: Yes, your DC Holster is covered by our limited warranty which applies to manufacturing and or material defects (excludes leather cosmetic blems).
This warranty does not cover damage from alterations, abuse, misuse, repair, or normal wear and tear
That said, we will ask for date of purchase, a breif description of the issue, and what happened. Lastly we will need photos of the holster to verify the failure was due to assembly or material defect and not normal EDC wear and tear.
